Jasbir Makkar founded National Mortgage Services Inc. in August 2001. A veteran mortgage specialist, Jasbir has been helping people obtain both residential and commercial mortgages since 1993.

From 1993 till 2001, he worked as an Accounts Manager and Mortgage Specialist with CIBC, and in that period won numerous awards and recognitions.

As a mortgage specialist, Jasbir won the President's Award of Sales
Excellence in 1997 and was recognized at a national convention by the President of CIBC Mortgages Inc. He was endowed this prestigous award for his exceptional customer service and achievements in sales. Additionally, Jasbir has won several other awards, including the CIBC Mortgages Inc. Quarterly Award twice for sales excellence, completeness and accuracy in work, as well as for professional and friendly customer service. Furthermore, he was consistently ranked among the top 5 mortgage specialists in BC and the Yukon during these eight years.

In 2001, recognizing that he could better serve his customers by working with multiple lenders, Jasbir formed National Mortgage Services Inc. Now having access to almost every lender across Canada, he is able to find the lowest rates on the market and tailor a mortgage best suited to your needs.

MP Singh was the first Mortgage Specialist to be hired by Scotiabank in 1992. His dedication and accomplishments helped Scotiabank's Mortgage Business Development Program flourish and currently Scotiabank has more than 100 mortgage specialists working throughout Canada.

From 1992 to 2003 MP worked for Scotiabank as a Mortgage Development Manager and as a Senior Personal Banking Officer. He has been awarded a variety of distinctions for sales achievements and customer service excellence. Throughout his career with Scotiabank, MP was consistently ranked within the top three regional salespersons.

MP decided he could better serve his customers by working with a diverse set of lenders; consequently, in April 2003 he joined National Mortgage Services Inc. to pursue this goal.
